The direct translation of “granum” means “a course grain”. Granite received this name because of the grain-like patterns that were formed in the stone. These patterns are comprised of small crystallized magma 🌋

Granite is the oldest ingenious rock on the planet which is believed to have originally formed as long as 300 million years ago! 😱

A nice side effect of this is that every single slab of granite is 💯% unique! That’s one of the many reason we love granite! 🙌

You may not know this but walls aren’t always completely flat. Using laser templator technology we are able to obtain the exact depth of every part of your cabinets to ensure there are no gaps between the wall and the back edge of the stone! Pretty cool huh? ✨
